This is great, thank you.

It appears there is a limit of 10 books per amazon account at a time. It is essentially like Amazon having their own library where you can check out any of the listed titles. You have to return previous checkouts to stay under the 10 cap.

Another great prime benefit.
They got Calvin and Hobbes!! Free!!
See my post above.

Also just looked:
Kindle unlimited eligible books
1,405,137

Kindle Reading Eligible books
1012

So it's all in what type of books you want to read if getting rid of unlimited is for you.

This is pretty great, thanks for the heads up.

Edit: is this the same as Kindle Unlimited? Just downloaded the Kindle app, signed in and it said it's a 7 day trial? I'm thinking not, but on the main page of books it says pick 10 books so I'm confused.

It'd be great if it was like KU where if you check out the book, you can get the audible book for cheaper.

Do you have to be the primary Prime member to get access to this? Because my friend added my account a family member but I am not able to get access to it through my account.

Yes, you must be primary, I cannot get it through my account, but my wife can (she is the primary)

Thanks for the post. I love that I can now get magazines on KU. This will really make the membership worthwhile.
I've had mixed feelings overall with my membership. Some great books by very talented authors, but a very large number of poorly-written books with 4-star reviews, probably written by friends of the author.

I have the kindle unlimited membership. I also have amazon prime. So do I now only need the prime membership? Even though I have both it will let me only checkout 10 books at a time.

This is gr8. Disappointing that (all?) magazines are not readable in cloud reader in PC.

I also want to know this as this deal might make me buy prime membership finally. But i very much doubt they will give all books available on Kindle. That would be cannibalizing their own market. Do want to know which books will be available.

FYI - this does not have the same amount of books that unlimited has. Just around a thousand.
I have prime and kindle unlimited and asked a rep this earlier.
My wife and daughters can go through ten books a week so I know they would go through these in no time.
I guess I'm stuck with unlimited and paying for both. Which is redundant now.
That being said: even with prime and unlimited I only get 10 books out at a time. Would be nice if they doubled it if you had both.
