Just noticed my walmart finally got these in stock the other day. I picked up 3 for our vacation to the beach next week.

It's a koozie for 12 ounce cans, not a cup. This is the regular price, however, so not sure how this is a deal.

I use it both as Koozie and a coffee cup. 12 ounce is perfect size for morning coffee though I guess some people chug more. 20 ounce tumbler is just too large as a coffee cup as hot liquid is hard to control when tilted in your mouth.

It's a "hot deal" because SD gets a kickback for every purchase. Also because it's significantly cheaper than the item it rips off-- the Yeti Rambler Colster.

I'm buying one of these Ozark Trails to compare to the Yeti version I own (and love). I doubt the Ozark Trail quality will hold up. It will become a "beater" I can use instead of the Yeti, for instance when going sailing.

I can't find it but I read an article somewhere that Ozark trail insulated products either met or out-performed the competitors in a few tests they did.

Can you use this for soups or spaghetti o's?

Most every Yeti copy I have tested works as well if not better than the Yeti itself.

In for 1. Thanks OP. I can't confirm, but I've heard that Ozark Trail knockoffs are made in the same factory that makes the Yeti's.

these copies are more a testment to how overpriced the yeti cups are than how far a company of ozark can cut corners. Nothing about the yeti cup is new technology, coffee cup makes have been using steel vacuum tumblers for years. To yeti's credit, it is my understanding that they paved the way for the fancy coolers that are now knocked off.

For sure. These probably come out of the same factory with exactly the same manufacturing process, materials, and quality control. My guess is the only difference between this and Yeti is the logo stamped in the stainless and the price.

i have one of these. Mine must be an older model since the top is plastic. But it works very well. It keeps the drink cold until the end of the can. If you use one of these and end up drinking a warm beer you need to drink faster.
