Thread Details

US Appliance has Bosch packages at a discounted price and there is a 10% manufacturer rebate via AMEX cash card.

To see the actual price click on each package. I didn't check if other brands had similar 'buried' discounts.

Bosch has a 10% rebate with an additional $200 for the fridge in packages 3 and 4.

We got package 3 for $4,530 after Ohio tax, with an additional $619 rebate ($419+$200 for the fridge). We had a local store (HHGregg) price match since US Appliance only offers curbside delivery. The two movers commented how heavy the range is, the fridge looked unbearable to move.

In February 2016 I purchased a Bosch over-the-range microwave/convection oven. Within 3 weeks the finish on the entire left side of the interior had disappeared. Moreover, a frozen pizza that cooked in 18 minutes in my previous micro/convection took over 50 minutes in the Bosch. I thought that my unit was simply defective, so I returned it and picked up another. Within 5 weeks, the replacement unit developed the same issue with the interior finish. The same frozen pizza took 38 minutes to cook - better than Bosch #1, but a far cry from the 18 minutes of the older unit. Out of curiosity I set the oven to preheat to 425F and watched the oven thermometer. After 56 minutes (!) the preheat cycled finally dinged and the oven thermometer read ~350F. I called Bosch for warranty repair and they gave me the runaround for months. They kept telling me to await a callback from a department that never called me back and was never available to take incoming calls. I finally got them to approve an evaluation by a local shop only to have the shop back out of the appointment because "Bosch never pays (them)." I now have a $600 unit that is 7 months old, completely delaminated on one side and takes three times longer to cook anything in convection mode than it should. Buy ANY other brand.

I buy all appliances from Abt Electronics now. After a horrendous experience with Sears years ago, I had to switch. All warranty services go through Aby and have never had an issue. The longest I've ever had to wait was calling late on the Friday before Memorial Day weekend and the next availability was Tuesday.

This is perfect OP. I was looking at a new dishwasher and I can combine with the Amex $50 off $500. Thanks and repped.
