Lowest price according to camel-cubed!

Morakniv Bushcraft Carbon Steel Survival Knife with Fire Starter and Sheath, Black
only $42.72! pick one up, you can't go wrong with this knife.

https://www.amazon.com/Morakniv-B...h%2C+Black

make sure you choose the seller Crazy Deals LLC, Amazon has it also for $.06 more.

Thanks majorhavoc, I assumed people would know worship

People are probably TDing it because they're unfamiliar with this model and the Mora Companion has been on sale lately for around $10. In pictures, the unsheathed Companion looks very similar to the Bushcraft. But the Bushcraft model is a completely different beast; much beefier blade and the included ferrocerium firestarter is very high quality. This is a no-apologies heavy duty bushcrafting and survival knife at a very good price.

ETA: Crazy Deals LLC, the Amazon vendor with this price, has a 100% customer rating over the past 12 months with 2583 Amazon user ratings as of this post. Not seeing any real downside to this deal. Well done, OP.

Why the thumbs down? Search slickdeals, the lowest price is $40.00 from woot, add the $5.00 shipping charge and you have $45.00 which is more than this? If you can find a better price than this post something instead of thumbs downing a deal, losers.

I appreciate the reply and the added info. I own the Companion (CS and SS), the Mora 2000 and the Mora Bushcraft Black, all great knifes. You can baton with this (even though it's not a full tang), it has a sharpened spine that will shower sparks. If you're just getting into bushcraft or camping, this is the knife you should have.

When I saw the title, I assumed it was the regular Bushcraft Black [amazon.com] without the fire starter and sharpening stone, which normally sells for around $38. The survival version for $42.72 gets a thumbs-up. Smilie

I rather just get the bear grylls gerber ultimate knife for a lot less which has the same components and actually is better put together in my opinion. Also its currently on sale and a lot cheaper.

Funny, I've had this in my saved list for like 2 years or something but I really don't need it, I can confirm it's the cheapest ever by a good amount on amazon LMAO

Is the Bear Gryllis version worth it? I see some other BG stuff in the sporting goods stores and think he sold out.

I have a few of the items, not just cause its bear gryllis but because they are gerber made products and are good. I have the canteen, separate fire starter, and ultimate knife pro which comes with sharpner/fire starter. I have used all of them and am very happy with all of them. The ultimate knife edge is very sharp, keeps sharp for a good amount of time before needing to be sharpened. The handle is pretty good, I like the hole loops incase you ever want to make the knife into a spear, which I have not had a need to do. I have tons of other non bear gryllis gear in my BOB's, but I saw them, liked them, and bought them.

Dont get me wrong I still love bear gryllis, and enjoy watching his shows. I do use the products so I know they work for me. I know some hard core survivalists will laugh when they see his branded stuff, luckily I dont care what most people think as long as im surviving.

https://www.youtube.com/results?s...rylls+fail

and then look up Mora fail.. there's a LOT more fails in Gerber's corner.
I prefer the reliability of the Mora bushcraft black and the ease of sharpening and maintaining a scandi grind.
Sometimes Gerber releases garbage and when my life might rely on it, I won't put it in the hands of Gerber. But to each his own.
$28 bucks and get maybe a piece of crap ugly orange knife or for $14 more get a better knife, period.

I feel the same way and have picked up a couple of his items when they're cheap enough. I really keep this for a backup and for friends.

I have other gear. I personally wouldn't bet my life on Gerber.

No, it's not. It's cheap crappy Chinese steel. 7Cr17MoV is comparable to 440A. It won't hold an edge, however it'll be easy to sharpen, you'll just have to sharpen it more often.
If I could get the Ultimate Pro, that would be a far superior knife and steel.
But the Ultimate Pro is more expensive and not as good as the Mora Bushcraft Black IMHO.
