What makes this a great deal, is that its waterproof for up to 5ATM so its great for swimmers. What also makes this a incredible deal is that its 10 hour of battery life with GPS on, compared to any competitor which is usually no more then 4.5 hours MAX.

Now the only bad with this, you dont get a built in heart rate monitor, which to me is enough to hold off. I was literally seconds from biting before I noticed that missing detail.

I don't think this has Google Fit integration. Otherwise, it looks like it would make a good bike computer.

Not just swimming, but cycling and running in the rain + sweat. Water resistance is a good feature to have.

Normally this comes with a HR strap, but I don't see it listed. I have an old Garmin strap that looks the same as the one normally bundled, so I assume it will work.

I think that's the vivoactive hr, I dont think this has or can use a strap.

Great price. I had this for a while (at full price), but ended up returning it after it regularly lost connection with my phone (ios). I enjoyed the watch otherwise, though.

Yes this supports using a strap or another type of heart rate sensor to go with it.

There is the new Vivaoactive HR and it looks awesome, but not worth it for $250 to me. I am going to hold off on this but its still a excellent deal. Who knows the battery life and the waterproofing might make me change my mind. I have a unopened Microsoft Band 2 just sitting in a box that I can probably sell for around this amount if not a little more.

Did some research and decided to order one.

Yes, it does support my old heart rate strap from my old Edge bike computer (now retired).

Yes, it supports Google Fit by connecting it through Strava link. And since I use Strava already, that is perfect.

Vivoactive > Garmin Connect > Strava > Google Fit

Having built in GPS is a bonus. No need to connect BT on my phone anymore.

Have had this for over a year. Fantastic watch. Battery lasts forever.

Great for running, cycling (use handlebar adapter), and golf! Will tell you your distance to the center, front, and back of the green. Would absolutely recommend.

great activity tracker

not recommended as regular watch due to terrible battery life unfortunately (I don't get what people are saying about weeks of battery life, mine is down to 80% after one run)

only way this could be better is if they had the white model and it was through ebay, I'd buy another one

I am a minimalist when I run, I have a sandisk clip for my music player, its small and weighs less then a quarter. Usually run with my microsoft band and thats it. I could never have a phone or anything bulky on me, it distracts me to much.
