Philips Hue White and Color Ambiance A19 Starter Kit for $89.98 @ Walmart B&M YMMV

I am ready to get all the thumbs down but that will not hold me posting a great deal.

I saw second generation hue starter kit marked down to $89.98 at my local walmart(Manchester, MO). There are none left at that store so please don't waste time going there.

Hope this will help someone.

Keep in mind gen 3 (bulbs) just came out 2 days ago.

That said, these are still $44.99 a bulb most places, and 3 bulbs with the bridge for $90 is quite a deal.

Wow these are for second gen too. Brickseek shows only one store at that price near me. I wonder if I can purchase online for store pickup and price match at the store if they do offer it for lower price.

Well I drove to one which showed 3 in stock but couldn't find them and the staff was clueless. Probably why they still show three. There likely boxed up in the back or flat out there inventory is wrong. It was a very messy store so they could have been in the dog food eisle :/.

not sure if those colors would be different but the difference I know is how bright they are. I think first gen are 600 Lumen's and gen two are 800 Lumen's. not sure how correct those numbers are but I am 100% sure the gen two are brighter then the gen ones

Just found a review from cnet.. and holy crap, gen 3 are incredible. The blues and greens are multitudes better.

https://www.cnet.com/pictures/how...hue-led/3/

Now how the hell can I return my 20+ gen 2's and get gen 3s without spending another 1500 bucks...
