These guys will auto renew on you and they are a nightmare to deal with to get a refund. I had sent in a cancle request that 'they missed' . I sent around 25 emails and reported them to the BBB before i got my mony back. Beware!

Thanks for sharing OP. Can't beat FREE.

Now the thrashing ... Smilie be careful before signing for any plan - ABCMouse has subpar customer service and policies, and won't give you the benefit of their ever falling prices for a never improving and sluggish product.

As a paying customer for both ABCMouse and Starfall - I would definitely put my child's time (and my money) on the starfall. So much superior in every aspect.
If kids are 3rd grade and up, might want to check out the free non-profit "Khan Academy"

Having not heard of it before, I opened this thread thinking it was going to be for pet snake owners.

Agree! Starfall is much more better and interesting for kids. ABCmouse's programs suck. My children used ABCmouse for a day, and they've been sticking with Starfall afterward.

I see different apps for starfall do you have to pay for each one?

Check with your school if they have KidsA-Z or RazKids plans. Sometimes they don't promote this, but it's there.

Best solution to eliminate possibility of auto renewal is to use virtual credit card (like ShopSafe offered by BOA) with the 2 month validity with least possible credit limit. That will be peace of mind!

this subscription is a frequent option in those earn gems/credit/crystals/etc for free in-app. free trial is fine, but I feel you are missing out on the sign up bonus since Groupon is shilling it
