I am not sure if there is a trigger for this to appear on an account, other than you need to be on a "New Verizon Plan L and above" without the 2GB of Bonus Data per month.
If you already have upgraded a device on a line and got the 2GB from the upgrade, then this will not work on that particular line.
I have NOT upgraded any devices recently. One device was on a 2yr contract from a few months ago, one has not been upgraded at all and is off contract. All my lines were eligible for the 2GB Bonus Data each.
Another great thing about the bonus data is it gets used first before your primary data, as primary data is the only data which gets rolled over at the end of your billing cycle.
Steps to reproduce deal:
1) Log into Verizon Wireless Account [verizonwireless.com]
as an Account Manager
2) Proceed to: https://nbillpay.verizonwireless..../myoffers/

(alternatively after logging in, you may see a red alert come up saying "You currently have offers available. Check out my offers today!")
You should see offer "Get 2 GB of free bonus data. For each qualifying smartphone. Every month. For Life."
Click "Tell me more", then click "Accept". When you log out and log back in a few minutes later, you should see your bonus data.
