Thread Details

Icelandair have low roundtrip airfares traveling from several major US Cities to Europe in (mostly) January - early February. Here are some examples:

**New York (EWR) to Stockholm, Sweden (ARN) for $344, makes 1 stop in Iceland, including taxes and fees. Travel Jan-Feb 2017.
Travel availability:
Departs: Tuesdays in January, February;
Returns: Saturdays, Sundays, Tuesdays in January; very limited in February
**Washington, DC (IAD) to London (LHR) for $364, makes 1 stop in Iceland for possibly up to 22 hours (two trips in one). Travel January 2017
Travel availability:
Departs: Jan 11, 18, 25, Feb 8
Returns: Jan 17, 24, 31, Feb 7
To match with the recent Luthansa Deal, Icelandair also have low roundtrip airfares (under $500) from Chicago, Denver, Minneapolis, and Seattle to destinations like Paris, Oslo, Frankfurt, and Amsterdam.

Check google flights [google.com] or Icelandair's [icelandair.us] website for availability and book with Orbitz [orbitz.com] or Priceline [priceline.com], free cancellation within 24 hours. If there's a particular flight you were looking for on those days, check back as someone may have cancelled the next day.

Please note that while this fare is valid at time of posting, fares can fluctuate in a matter of minutes/hours/days.

My sample travel dates:
Jan 3-10, 2017 (EWR-ARN) <---I used Orbitz
Jan 11-24, 2017 (IAD-LHR) <---I used Priceline

Saw the Washington to London deal yesterday. Called Icelandair to see if I could switch my flights. Lady told me they charge $40 per person to change it. I said NOPE.

$40 is really cheap. US carriers like AA and Delta charge $200+

The price difference between my reservation and the new cheaper prices wasn't worth paying $80. It would have came out to the same price.

Good pricing but this is the off-season and Europe in January/February is the same as NYC or Boston in January/February - freezing!
