$59.99

Edit: Title may be misleading. you don't get an additional $50 gift card on top of the $59.99 price. it's just $59.99.
I recently bought the Blu R1 HD and it was a really nice phone for the price.

https://www.amazon.com/BLU-R1-HD-...B01H2E0J5M

For some reason, if you buy the prime version, the phone is $109.99 with a $50 amazon gift card making it $59.99, but there's a small trick that allowed me to still get the phone for just $59.99 (not the full price and a gift card).

Step 1. Do not press "Add to cart" it will add the phone at full price (and then give you instructions on how to get a $50 gift card).
Step 2. Scroll down a little from the description until you get to "Frequently Bought Together"
Step 3. Add all the items from frequently bought together to your cart. (note that the phone price is the discounted $59.99 price)
Step 4. Remove the all items from your cart asides from the phone.

"Frequently bought together" may not appear for everyone. Maybe try refreshing/clearing cookies, also make sure you have prime.

Please let me know if what I'm posting is useful. This is like my second post here.

Where is this gift card? Is it added after purchase? Also can you get multiple gift cards if you buy more than one?

I don't get it, this was $59.99 since it was released for prime users. I don't see a deal here.

Nope. Tried it, doesn't work. Shows full price the entire time. Tsk tsk.

If you add it to cart (even as a prime member) it will show as $109.99 with a $50 gift card at a later time. unless it was showing that just for me. Adding 3 items to cart changed the price of the phone to $59.99. Idk if anyone else is seeing this. I guess I should've been clearer in my post.

The deal, as the OP states is to get it at $59.99 with a $50 Amazon GC, but no one can replicate. So yeah, no deal.

Need to see proof.

There IS a trick here, but its not this. And why spoil a good thing? As to the deal, if it permits non prime users to buy at prime price? Perhaps it is a deal, then.

Those who know, if you are on the fence on play or r1hd etc and were hoping to use this then get your orders in because this is bound to be caught sooner or later.

As to WHAT it is? I dont know.

No, intoxicated new member...it shows $59.99 (without a gift card) prior to adding it (for Prime members) to your cart and stays $59.99 (again without a gift card) upon checkout.

I'm sorry. I guess is it only for me that it shows as $109.99 when I add it to cart normally? Try adding it to cart normally, the price might be different from the listed price (it is for me even though the list price says 59.99).
Edit: Also, I did have a few drinks so I might literally be intoxicated. I'm sorry if the post wasn't helpful.

Don't just post your "edit" in the thread. Change the title

I appreciate your attempting to share with others. There is value in the sentiment, regardless of outcome : )

Also the fact your are humble and apologetic, whereas most deal posters (especially veteran users) will get defensive and vicious if their deal is questioned.

The irony is who knows how many good deals we may have missed out on because users shy from sharing in fear of being chastised : /

Welp, thanks again for sharing, and I hope such an honest mistake and all those being ugly don't dissuade you from posting in the future : )

Take care buddy!
