Bf is more and more disappointing in the past decade. And good online deals are always better than BF based on my experience.

If you want a laptop, I second the XPS 13 as the best in that size class. If you want a convertible, look for a deal on the Acer Switch Alpha 12. I have that and this dell and I go to the acer most of the time because it works and has more power being a full core u opposed to a core m... and that it just works...
This model's main problem is lower than average battery life on this category. The advantage is having two Thunderbolt 3 ports. 4K Display may be good for somebody looking for Photo editing or watching 4K content.

I'd buy the Lenovo miix 700 instead.

I would jump on this if I wasn't so attached to my iPhone & iPad. Maybe not after reading the Amazoom reviews.

I have the latitude version of this with the M7 and the slim folio keyboard. Its ok at best. its plagued with some software issues... chrome crashes on the regular, the screen brightness has a mind of its own, and the wake up from sleep/hibernate time is worse than nearly every other ultrabook/tablet I own (Chromebook included). For what it is though... a surface alternative, it has more going for it for the price. Its plenty fast and in general works great. Battery life is the #1 drawback.

In your experience which 12-13 inch laptop would you recommend? I've been trying to stay away from the m processors because i've heard you can't even do simple gaming... Which i do sometimes, any ideas?

I had the mixx. had to return it. didn't get as good battery life as a wanted, had some software glitches and the keyboard would miss strokes.

sexy though and a nicely designed device
