Dear Members,

RingPlus as a Member advocate is transparent.

We have been finally able to diagnose the root of call latency and call connectivity issues.

We are currently discussing solutions with our telecom partner, and we will update you after Pacific tomorrow 5pm Pacific.

Not sure why people TD this.
I post this in Deal Talk.
If Ringplus can fix the Call latency, this should be a great news.
So why TD? You don't have to buy anything from this thread.

I hope they can fix it. My wife complains sometimes when someone calls in her Moto G4, the phone hangs up but the other person can hear her...

It's past 5pm. Did I miss it? Was that announcement even legit? Why would they use the classifieds account for it?

The latency on RP is horrible. Half the time it's so bad I have to use my FP phone since it's better.

Partly, it's because of exactly this kind of vague BS that R+ releases that they have a bad reputation on SD.

Look at how R+ handled this situation... They make an announcement stating that they just identified the cause of the problem that many users have been long complaining about. All this time they have been refusing to acknowledge the latency problem really exists by blaming it on the individual's devices, or specific towers, location or whatever. The announcement is vague and lacking in detail, but they say that they'll give an update "tomorrow 5pm." "Tomorrow 5pm" comes and the update is that they'll update us "Wednesday 3pm". No more detail.

Instead of stringing us along waiting for updates, R+ should have just quietly identified the problem, fixed it, THEN make an announcement to the public, giving us the full story. Their marketing/PR people really need to be terminated and replaced.
