For $349 I'd just get the Series 2 aluminum body with the sport band and GPS. Better value for the money.

I'm confused as to why people are giving this a thumbs down...it's a legit deal! Y'all may not like the price still, but why give it a thumbs down when it's a legitimate sale?

Just because it is a sale does not meant it is a good deal.

1. The price was lower.
2. They have this price for month since the new Watch launched. It became the new MSRP now Big Grin

Definitely. Keep in mind that Apple Watch was first announced in September 2014 and released April 2015 so its already a pretty old product. The Series 0 watches were essentially a paid beta. So, while Stainless Steel is nice, in the long run then what benefit does body material have when Apple stops supporting this model.

I got a $200 42mm SS Black when it was available and have been waiting to find the deal again. But we're so close to Black Friday now that I'm better off just waiting for a Series 1 or Series 2 deal instead.

It's not the new MSRP. It's only on select models.

Is there any indication that they're going to "stop supporting" the first gen watch?

The general path is the specs for the apps get so demanding they run like crap and people upgrade to get speed back, so when the device support finally stops, people have already left.

Well, the iPad came out in 2010, not 2015, so you're comparing products separated by 5 years...
