I'm unclear on why this is a bad deal - price is lower than previous SD posts for this item and is continuing to drop - can someone please explain? I'd like to cancel my order if there's a better deal elsewhere. TIA!

My only thoughts are its close to fall. Not sure, this is a Slick deal for anyone with a porch or deck. Hide that coleman crap for eyeballs sake!

Three possible reasons:

1) Black Friday lightning deals put these around $35 for two or three years in a row, if I remember correctly. CCC only takes a snapshot if the deal lasts for a while (min 24 hrs?) or someone pulls the hard info through their site. Lightning and promo deals don't get recorded by CCC so they don't have the "lowest price" recorded for all items.

2) Did you link to your own smile.amazon.com org account? Some people don't like that. The OP clearly linked to a charity portal (smile) since it's in the URL and people get the notification that they are generating revenue for a charity that may not be of their choice. If you're doing something sneaky, you get downvoted.

3) It was cheaper a day later @ $54, but the price went back up today.

Good to know wrt 1 and 2 - for #2, I didn't even think about the smile account because that's my default, but it's not my own org - it's just set up to donate to the DC Diaper Bank. But wouldn't it link to your own smile charity anyway once you sign in?

I actually ended up getting it though wikibuy for $45.61 and will have to refuse the amazon delivery when it arrives because they wouldn't do a price match. Oh well, at least I learned something. Thanks for your feedback! Smilie
