YMMV because you obviously have to be where there are Menards. All the Menards I checked online still have tons of these left on clearance. $7.99 plus tax.

Includes 7" speed square, 6" combination square, and 62 page instruction book.

Same combo is on Amazon for $17.99 with 4.5 out of 5 reviews:

Nice deal, will look next time I am there.

I've already got a speed square but a friend showed me a feature on that mine is missing- the notches in the inmost triangle are so that you can draw a consistent ~1-2inch line along a straight face. I'll probably only have a need to use it a handful of times but I'm a sucker for cool little features.

You can never be sure with any square or level, there's always a chance for manufacturing defect or warping during transport. Test it and have the store swap if it you get a bad one.

Most if not all cheap combination squares are not square out the store, even taking it back and getting another one will not help. Rather square it yourself by testing out how square it is and then filing down the little feet or nubs to make it perfect.

There are numerous vids on youtube explaining how to square a square.
