The manufacturers have no incentive to discount their flagship models. They will gladly move on anything that does not have HDR though.

I see some movement on all those. Sunday is a new price check.

The 65/E6 can be had with a price match for 3200 at Beach Camera/2500 for the 65/B6.

Rumor is they will bottom out at 2500 for the holidays. The 9500 is slowly drifting down.

BB has it for 2499 this week and a free player. Still too high for what you get. The 9000 could be a great buy if they ever lower the price. Some BBs had a 3 hour sale for 1800.

55" models should be hot this month and next. 8000 would be a great TV for the money.

Expect it to be below the 1K mark by BF.

From the early ads, it appears 65" sets may be left out. At least the higher-end brands/sets. Would love to score an HDR set in 65 for $1000-1200.

Looks like the sales are starting early and may be over by BF.

Expect LG and Samsung prices to drift further down the next two weeks and they will throw in free stuff most likely before BF week.

Same thing happened last year. Then the prices went up for several weeks and then dropped before Super bowl week.

If you have price protection with your credit card or 45 days with BB then it is getting time to push the button. Sundays ad with tell us if there is any hope for better prices.

Thanks for the input, ETP! I've got an articulating wall mount on a bare wall just waiting for its 65" friend. Will be watching closely over the next two weeks.
