Are these better than Bosch icons?

Amazon priced matched just one size of the blades (and an unusual one, at that)? That's ridiculous. And anybody that wants that size better buy quickly. The way Amazon's demand algorithm works now, if purchases start going up, so will the price. I just bought from Walmart.

Another example of why I can't justify paying for Prime anymore.

Walmart has been selling them at this price for a while. I picked up four for a little under $30; I'd pay tax at Amazon anyway.

Initial impression is that these are strictly average quality blades where the brand name used to market them is arguably misleading.

How do these compare to Rain-X Latitude wipers?

Thanks for that. Had just bought a pair (had the other size already), so I'll check them out. Normally, I buy multiples when they go on sale. This time, however, I seem to have missed the passenger side on one of my vehicles.

You see companies pimping out their brand equity a lot of late. Really bad idea, long term, if the product isn't very good. However, short term = free money. Company management probably like that. They figure that they'll have ditched these losers before any negative impact shows up.

I remember reading somewhere that some former major manufacturing company like Motorola or Zenith or something has or had only one major asset - it's name, which is licensed out to anyone who'll pay to use it.

Naturally, the licensee's product must meet the company's exacting quality $tandard$ in order to use the name, if you catch my drift.

The price is tempting, but once you spend a bunch of money on Bosch icons, it's hard to go back to other blades. I need to replace mine now, but they've almost lasted 2 years, compared to cheaper blades at 3-6 months.
