All because it doesn't have a single player campaign. That's why I'm looking forward to Battlefront 2.

Well, it's been out for a year and requires an additional Season Pass for the DLC. Not surprising. I'm impressed it's held out at this price point for so long.

yea I don't really think it's followed a bomb-level price drop, lack of single player hasn't kept it from holding value for quite some time. like Ion mentioned there's a bunch of DLC out now so they're dropping the base game price, also it's about to lose a lot of players to Titanfall 2 and Battlefield 1 over the next few weeks

All because the multiplayer is terrible, generic, boring, and nothing like the original games.

Later this year, we'll also add even more blockbuster content to The Vault, including:

- EA SPORTS™ UFC® 2
- Mirror's Edge™ Catalyst
- Star Wars™ Battlefront™

Do we know if the vault access will contain all of the DLC? A year subscription to EA access would be much cheaper than this game + $49.99 season pass.

Probably not, but who knows. They might end up doing a similar promo where they give out the free add-ons, just like they did with Battlefield 4 and Hardline.

EA Access goes on sale every once in awhile. It was recently $25 on Newegg.com

This game is worth $10. Or less.

I do own this and sure it's not of the caliber of Battlefield 4, but that said it's not terrible either. The base game is fun, but honestly without the DLC it feels lacking. Also without the DLC you may get fed up as you face off against DLC players using star cards, weapons and even heros you can't use. The new weapons have a secondary fire that makes quite the difference sometimes. I found the repeater with the grenade like secondary is great when you have a hero cornered who refuses to become too exposed, but approaching too close will get you killed.

Also while it does not have a proper single player campaign, it does have single player skirmish missions you can do. They're not necessarily as enjoyable as multiplayer, but they have goals that earn you credits that can be used for multiplayer.

Oh and as pointed out, I doubt DLC will be in the Vault release, now next year that may well change as BF4 had premium released to the Vault at the same time the free DLC release started.

This was $10 at Fred Meyers on the 30th of last month. Even at that price its probably overvalued by $5.00.
