Aesthetically pleasing plastic and energy efficient plus 2YR warranty. Reg price is $25 on Amazon so not too bad. Desc: https://www.amazon.com/TP-LINK-Gi...6555583168

$9.99, 10.99 and $12.99 earlier this year from NewEgg and sometimes matched closely (after rebates) through Amazon. I'd wait til BF as they would be below $15 then.

Note: The ports are on the back, the lights are on the front facing up though. They also only show link/activity, they do not indicate speed. Since it's not metal it is at the mercy of the cords it's attached to It would be good for an entertainment center distribution to not stand out. Also note that many people (myself included) have received bad power supplies that have a high pitched whine when close to them. I don't know if they've fixed that yet.

I also have the metal version with speed indicators and both work fine. These are nice since no cords run out the front. Most routers/switches have the power on the back side and network out the back on the opposite side making it not ideal for things like entertainment center use hidden a top of another component.
