Verizon hammered down on buying prepaid phones and just swapping the sim, correct? I have unlimited and do NOT want to lose it. Do I need to buy the unlocked version for $150?

No because ringplus sucks
PP is fine, but RP is just too annoying to ever be a daily driver IMO.

Be careful, if you were thinking of getting this for a non-Verizon carier, the Verizon Prepaid version does not have all the LTE bands as the unlocked version.

You need to activate the prepaid phone on a prepaid plan first, possibly for a month. Then it can be used on post paid. If you put a Post paid sim into a prepaid device without activating it on prepaid first then it will hotline there line, making it only capable of calling customer service. They will make you activate a qualified device in order to remove the hotline

I'll stick to my ZTE Zmax2. Doesn't everyone have one of those by now? They've only been front page for 6 months.
