Deal Details

$5.99 BOGO GE 2 pack dimmable (so 4 bulbs), soft white, 10.5w, 800 lumens 13.7 year life @ 3hr/day, 5 year limited warranty. Users reporting base price is a YMMV aspect.
- $2.00 on-the-box GE coupon for discount on this product(cashier tried and only one coupon would apply, likely because this was BOGO) These coupons were my initial thought for YMMV
- .19 %5 target cartwheel app GE light bulb discount
- .18 %5 target red card discount
$3.62 / 4 bulbs = .91 per bulb (not too bad for known brand name)

This looks to be a in-store deal only as when you add two of the items above to your cart online no discount or BOGO is applied and the initial price is higher than in-store. $9.00 vs $5.99.

Hope this works for y'all. It does show $5.99 and 50+ still available at the store I purchased mine from. Here's the inventory price checker.

Keep reading if you like extra details and long posts.

So this may be the item online. Although mine were in different packaging than what is in the website picture. full cardboard box vs. blister & carbord on the website.

Thanks to jordija who inquired about the dpci number, which I then searched by on the target website and returned the link above.

From the comments of other users and looking closer at the above item on their website I would say pictured item is a similar to what I found in-store. The website listing is poor for the item pictured. It lists 450 lumens, 1 bulb in package, 11 watts, 22.8 years. While the pictured item packaging states 800 lumens, 2 bulbs, 10.5 wats, 13.7 years.
So while the written item details are wonky the brickseek for this dpci seemed to be accurate for my area.

Note: For the store I was in the GE on-the-box coupons were all over most of the boxes. And it looks like the on-the-box coupon was on other models of bulbs that also had the target BOGO deal on them. I believe I saw 2 packs 40W dimmable softwhite bulbs for the same price this deal would apply to.

I did this deal but bought four 2 packs all on the same transaction, cashier tried but only 2 of the 4 on-the-box $2.00 off coupons would apply to the transaction. Just imagine how slick this deal would be if all $2.00 off coupons would apply. EEK!

If you can get them to override and apply both on-the-box coupons like Asryn did then you can get these bulbs for 50 cents each.

I marked this deal YMMV mostly for the on-the-box coupon aspect. The BOGO, cartwheel, and red card aspects of this deal should be very reproducible and still offer a decent price if you like to buy your LED bulbs in-store at Target.

Some users state the $5.99 price may be because of utility subsidies depending on your area or perhaps prices just vary by location but I would expect the same price online for in-store pick up which I did not see in my area if it was subsidized. Maybe there is some agreements with certain utilities that they only subsidize in-store purchase, but I lean more towards prices just vary by store.

I saw these last night at target on an end display. Tried to use both $2 coupons but only one worked but they had no problem overriding it.

Going through target.com, location CA, and I don't see any 2-pack for $5.99. Frown For those who can find it, this is pretty slick.

I did not see this product on their website when I got home to check. I uploaded a pic of the UPC from the box.

Yes, I found them on an end cap as well. Great that they overrode the other coupon for you. The cashier I worked with saw the DO NOT DOUBLE on the coupon and wondered if she should scan it, then tried anyways. Guess I was happy enough with the deal I did received. I might go back for more and ask them to do an override like you.

Showing up as $9/pack for me for all the stores in my area on fyndly.com. Scanned the barcode off your photo in the Target app and it shows up as the same item that you linked to for $9 online.

of course all stores around me but the closest one are listed at $5.99. Is it a possible brickseek error?

seems like this DCPI refers to several UPCs, so maybe only that particular one is special-priced.

Just tried this in CA. B1G1 at $9. Was able to use both $2 off coupons (override 2nd coupon). Total after red card and cartwheel: $4.99.
