Same as last time in Febtober. I don't know if this is a repost since I wasn't aware of it and have made a ton of paypal purchases since then. This is good to sign up for in time for those Christmas/BF purchases that are coming up.

NOTE: ACTIVATION REQUIRED

1. Log into your paypal account or sign up
2. Visit this link [paypal.com] to activate for your account.

I've used this 2 or 3 times before, it works.

Or let the buyer use your item for a day or so and then file a case claiming defect and then return to you free of charge. You shipped them a new item but get a used item back. Yippee for you.

Nice that buyers just have to claim a defect and they win....no proof needed. lol I know, I just went through this.

I find myself using 5Mile, LetGo and Offup and Craigslist more and more. I'm trying to get away from Ebay. I've actually been pretty successful using those apps and I don't have to worry about a buyer later scamming me.
No it is a promotion to encourage sign ups and purchases through paypal. It looks like Paypal (the company) will be paying the return fees as long as you process a claim. Some sellers may see a small bump in returns, but not much more goes out of their profits.
Sellers must take back items for 180 days regardless of what they put in the auction.

So basically screw sellers out of initial shipping and encourage returns? Am I comprehending this correctly?

AKA, let's buy something we don't want, claim it doesn't work, then return it. I hate these people. They then have the audacity to give you a negative feedback when you give them a response they don't like.

How does that work when the seller has a different return policy listed? I'm looking at an item but it says 14 day return ?
