Friendly tip make sure SSDs you buy are MLC nand flash these Sandisk Ultra II's are TLC nand flash

SLC single cell nand flash much more reliable very expensive Military Government and Major Businesses buy them for their reliablity and speed

MLC very fast 2 cell nand flash 5 to 10 year warranties

TLC cheapest tripple cell nand flash low reliability 2-3 year wrranty

In that review you linked the estimated lifespan of the drive writing 20GBs per day would be 25 years. So while you are right MLC is of course better, not everyone requires it. If you are doing proper backups, then the increase in speed for TLC, and decrease in price might be worth it. Just keep in mind most SSDs fail without indication, so keeping a good backup especially later in the drives life is essential.
