Hey guys,

I didn't see this posted, so I thought I'd share.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Regal is expensive IMO. They recently charged 1.5$ Premier fee if you see a movie on its 1st week. I'll pass

I don't know where you're from but here they charge the same if you see it the 1st day or a week later after it came out.

We have 2 theaters in the area, And regal is by far more expensive. They Charge $1.50 to "Reserve" a seat, They have the new recliner seats. ehh If i wanted to recline I would stay home. The cinemark theater offers much bigger discounts from coupons. My dad brags how he went to a movie a few weeks ago for $12. That included a ticket to the show, a Large Popcorn and Large Soda. Granted this was going to a Sunday 1130 showing, Not to shabby.

So, go to Cinemark..

My Regal does $6 seats on Tuesdays, and paired with the AT&T 2-for-Tuesday deal, I get two full price tickets (reserved with recliners) to any movie for $7 after fees. They're also the same price thru the run as they are on release day.

Thanks OP!

That's a theater-specific practice. However, I do agree that Regal is comparatively more expensive. My local Regals charge $11.85/ticket. Carmike is $10. AMC was $10.75 and just upped the prices to $11.50 a couple weeks ago, BUT they have very comfy reclining seats. All of this assumes you're paying regular prices though. Thanks to TrialPay and a couple Boxed deals, I was able to get a pile of Regal GCs/passes for 50%+ off. No matter how hard I looked, I was unable to find any comparable offers for AMC/Carmike GCs or passes. So in the end Regal comes out cheaper for me.

Ditto. No extra fees here either at either of my 2 local Regals.

Here, Regal is the nice cheap theater. There are cheaper, but they are smaller local shops. Marcus is more expensive and the new AMC is almost double.

A few months ago (and last holiday season as well) Boxed had Regal passes. After coupon and AmEx offer combined, the passes came out to 50% or more off. Unfortunately, Boxed no longer carries the Regal passes and when I contacted them to inquire about them, they said they aren't sure if they will ever stock them again.

The TrialPay offer comes and goes; the last time it was available was a few weeks ago. Spend $10, get $10 and it does indeed work on GCs. When it rolls around you can redeem it once per Visa. The more Visas you have, the more you can stock up.

For right now, 20% is probably the best you will get. You can sweeten the pot a bit if you have AT&T though as Regal GCs can be used to pay for the AT&T Twosdays BOGO tickets.
