For those spurning the card because it is "only 4 GB" You really need to read the reviews which show this as being within 5% (or less) performance of the 8GB card while being $70~ cheaper.

Again, there is NO game out there that will see a 5%+ performance increase from 8GB.

I should note I tried to return mine that I purchased from Newegg a week ago for $20 more and they said they'd have to charge a 15% restocking fee, they actually advised me to sell it myself. Just a FYI.

Why did I want to return it you ask? AMD just announced improvements to their process that will allow them to make these cards consume 50% less power: http://wccftech.com/amd-polaris/ --------->WRONG, you are quoting a 9month old article comparing polaris to last gen. amd cards.... These ARE the cards they are refferring to in that article...however, they are releasing the mobile variety which will feature more efficiency. Update to the desktop versions is just speculation at this point

Wow this is a good value. If you're going to get an AMD card, this is the one to get. Virtually the same performance as the 8GB, and MSI's cooler is cool and quiet.

4GB card but still a killer deal at 179.99 benches slighly lower than the 8gb card but at this price 30% cheaper

Not bad. I have had a decent experience with MSI and would try them again. Although, I hate rebates and probably won't buy anything with rebates anymore unless it is a fire deal.

Too bad it's the 4GB one. And at the same time newegg raised the price of 8GB version from $250 to $265 Frown

I suppose it is possible. You would need to buy the card to find out.

As soon as they drop the "combo" (that is really a coupon), I will get it with the Visa Checkout. Don't even care if the rebate expires.
