Thanks, good use for T-mobile credit.

http://vudu.uvfor.me for superior search of Vudu. Much better than the app or Vudu.com.

Pick out a free movie if you are on T-Mobile with the Tuesday credit.

I snagged 30 days of night.

Typically once you pay for the rental you have 30 days to watch it. Once you start the movie you have a certain amount of time it is active, usually 48 hours. You could watch it as many times as you want in those hours.

Some titles I'm thinking about:
  • Flatliners
  • End of Days
  • Mary Shelley's Frankenstein
  • The Haunting
  • Wolf

Wolf & Vampires are two movies that Vudu said didn't recognize my DVDs when I wanted to do disc to digital, so buying one of those was a good choice for me. I went went Wolf. Hopefully get Vampires next week. Third choice will be 30 Days of Night; Great Vampire flick!

The Frighteners is also on sale for $5. While I wouldn't say it's a "horror" movie, I've always liked it.

I saw the newer The Haunting awhile back. It was pretty good, the movie score was better than the movie (in my opinion). It was beautiful.

It's been a little frustrating with Vudu recently. Many of their promo'd $0.99 rentals came with a much more rapid / and in some cases fixed time clock. For example 13 Hours.... had a set short duration expiration. Each day you waited to rent it, it ticked off one less day available for you to being watch the movie - talking about before you rented it. I rented it on different accounts on different days for different family members - it was that or waste the credit - I used it to spend the last $1 of T-Mobile credits. Anyway on that last day you could rent it for $1, it gave just 3 days to begin viewing it instead of the 10 days original. 10 Days is not a long time either but it was better than 3 days lol.

30 Days is the Norm, it's just Vudu should have had a disclaimer on the page when they post deals that have just a few days to watch.
Additionally same scenarios (T-Mobile Credits $1 to burn) I've had more than a few of the rentals be only 24 hours once started - I think for most people that's enough, but again no indication of that until the movie was started. So while most are 48 hours. Take note of any that you rent, especially the promo movies. (There is a section of 99 cent horror rentals on special right now) - so they may or may not have abbreviated time clocks or viewing periods.

P.S. I for the most part only rent to use up left over T-Mobile credits. I think D2D is a far better value for those credits even if you can only do 2 Blu-rays that way w/o paying addition out of pocket money. Many of the horror section are D2D @ Home Eligible.
