This knife sharpener has good reviews on Amazon.

1 – 2 – 3 Miracle Sharpener brings your dull knives back to life! Now, you SAVE BIG! Easy, three-step sharpening to revive worn-out blades! The 1-2-3 Miracle Sharpener uses a patented three-slot design to prepare the blade, sharpen and then finish the edge for clean cuts. Features an ergonomic handle so you can easily stabilize the Sharpener and anti-slip rubber pads that keep the unit in place.

Quick-sharpen method: Diamond abrasive edge shapes the burr-free edge and ensures sharp edges in seconds. Tungsten steel blade sharpens the dull edge. Creates double-bevel V-shaped edge for superb cutting. Ceramic edge provides a final polish. Made for straight-edge knives.

Stage 1 features a diamond abrasive edge to shape the burr-free edge. Stage 2 has a tungsten steel blade for sharpening the dull edge. Stage 3 has a ceramic edge that finishes the job by polishing the edge. Simply pull the knife 3 times at each stage and you're done!
Features an ergonomic handle so you can easily stabilize the Sharpener and anti-slip rubber pads that keep the unit in place.
The world's fastest 3-stage knife sharpener – produces razor-sharp edges in just seconds!

Not good, I bought two a few years ago from the same seller, they don't seem to sharpen the knives.

The following one did a better job for me,

I use and am also happy (enough) with the AccuSharp and sometimes will take them to SurLaTable for free annual sharpening.

I have a set of Hencekels 4 Star fully forged knives and some Shun knockoffs, both of which get nice and sharp. Sure, it's not the best and any stone would be better, but I haven't noticed any degradation and with frequent honing with a steel, the AccuSharp only gets brought out a few times per year.

Not that there can't be exceptions to the rule, but I inherently distrust any product with the words "Magic", "Wonder" or "Miracle" in their names. I also run screaming from things that are marketed with phrases like "ee-zee" or "As seen on TV".

I feel this philosophy has served me quite well in life. nod

What about the "As seen on TV super ee-zee miraculous wonderful magical Knife Sharpener by Gimmick Industries?" You wouldn't trust that one either? LMAO

i would not use this on any decent or expensive knives.

Better buy a whet stone and learn how to do it yourself. Or take it to a professional.

I agree. Haven't used this "1-2-3 miracle" but the accusharp is cheaper and does a really good job. Better than the similar smith's, or this other 3 x slot sharpener I own.

I'd recommend either the accusharp for $7 or the Lansky blade medic for $9. The Lansky is about the same as the accusharp but has a tapered diamond rod so it's good for serrated knives, or for grinding away burrs on an abused chef's knife.

blade medic:

I have seen sharpeners like this completely ruin many a fillet knives over the years at the Fish Cleaning station. It's basicly the same V-Shaped sharpener that has been around for decades. Highly suggest, spend the extra few bucks and get a Spyderco Sharpmaker. Pays for itself after one sharpening of your kitchen knives.

Yep, get a Spyderco. There are better ways, like wet stones, etc... but a Spyderco is the next best thing.

If you don't want to spend that much, get this for $14 ...
