Yes, its older but for $20 (plus taxes) out of pocket how can you go wrong? The condition states refurbished, used - good.

From Woot:
"We're listing these as "Refurbished", but the boxes will be marked "Used - Good". These units will have minor cosmetic blemishes and have been returned, inspected, and restored to fully working condition by an Amazon technician. The units have been repackaged in a brown box."

Also, $5 ships your entire order.

This is still my favorite Kindle of all. I bought up quite a few on craigslist a while back so I don't have to "upgrade" to the new ones.

EDIT: These are $25+ on AmazonWarehouseDeals right now

Can you upload your own .epub files to this? I wish there was some way I could sync my google play books which I use on all of my other devices with this as well.

Convert to Mobi for free. I have a ton of "free" books on my current one.

This is the first and only (non-Fire) Kindle I've used. I'm still quite happy with it and see no reason to get a newer model.
