A 250 round box of 9mm was $20? That's 8 cents a round. I guess I'll be swinging by a Walmart on the way home.

Was it on clearance or something?

for plinking ammo that's a retarded comment. you could lose 1:3 and still be better off. hell you could almost lose 2:3 and break even on regular price ammo.

that's their sale price right now. keep in mind they were out of the 9 and the 40 so YMMV but very much worth checking especially no limit

Thanks for the head's up. By chance can you post the SKU or UPC for both items to simplify a Brickseek stock check?

Risking your life for plinking ? You sound like a typical rookie with firearms! Do you even know what a squib is ? lol..

risking your life for shooting underpowered ammo? I think your making a mountain out of a molehill. me the wife and the kids burn through thousands of rounds of cheap ammo every month. misfires, failure to eject, slide jams, and poor accuracy...that's the worst of it. so tell me again about all your experience... and do you know what kind of poor loading you would need to induce a squib? not a big manufacturer

Risking your life? You really have no clue what you are talking about.

That ammo is fine, nothing wrong with it at all.
