It also = better viewing angles which is important if you have a larger sitting area or everyone isn't directly in front of tv...

This or the XBR55X930D. Hoping that one drops to $1,100.00 by BF.

It also = grayish blacks for everyone, irregardless of where they are sitting.

Bought the 65" version a few weeks ago and while it had an AMAZING picture, it also had MASSIVE light bleed in all 4 corners during letterbox movies. Back it went, waiting for a deal on KS8000 65" as I don't have viewing angles to be concerned with. Can't recommend, wait for the 930D to drop lower with edge lit setup and much better HDR.

Did I argue that it didn't? EVERY TV that isn't Plasma or OLED is a compromise.

In my large living space with people sitting at various angles, lack of deep blacks is acceptable...

Loss of color accuracy at slight angles is not.

I might have tried a few online suggestions for addressing the bleed or try another one.

I have some light bleed on left hand side corners only, it's really not too bad though, so I can live with it. PQ other than bleed and lack of DEEP blacks is great.

Depends. I don't think these models will go much lower. Plus, many places offer 30 days price protection...

Also, if you have issues, there's something to be said for being able to actually get a replacement... Around bf, you may not be able to.
