These armbands aren't comfortable for long runs or sprints, as an avid runner who tracks 4 miles daily, I highly recommend a proper waist band that can hold your phone/keys/I.D.

It says for over 5.5 inch phones, not 5.5 inch phones. This thing looks to be for phablets only. I wouldn't do it unless your screen is 6' or larger.

What is your running technique? And how do you avoid plantar fasciitis while running this distance daily?

I like brooks but any low weight shoe is good, can't recommend what kind since every foot is different as well as your weight and running habits. Best to try them at a store with a good return policy incase you start getting foot pains or foot calluses

i have run many half marathons in armbands like these. i had no discomfort. none at all. a good running belt can be very useful. but these are great too. all a matter of opinion.
