Can you verify if this is for web email or for SMTP/IMAP access? I no longer have my .edu email or I would verify myself.

I wonder if this will transfer to Google Domains ($12/yr) and they will add an extra year when you do it?
(Have to wait 60 days to do transfer.)

I think 1&1 [1and1.com] will do a domain name transfer for free (not sure if/what strings are attached). I know they include an email address via SMTP/IMAP (no webmail) with their domains though.

I would expect you'd either have to pay Namecheap for another year, transfer it to a different domain host, or let it expire.

It's expensive for second year fees.
