Nothing to get around- if you say you have a business then you have one.... simple as that. You don't need registered articles of incorporation or anything to have a business.
Sorry I'm sure you've probably been quoted a million times, but if you do see this and don't mind answering, what do you put in all those business fields that ask business name, identification number, business revenue, employees, industry, etc?

Business name is your name. Type is sole proprietor. Tax ID is your SSN.

For the rest just put whatever is nearest to correct- if your business is just you sold some stuff on ebay put whatever your revenue from that was. If it's from fixing folks cars on the side- put whatever that is. If anybody (wife, kids, etc) helps you with it you could list them as employees I suppose but I'm not sure chase cares too much about 1 employee versus having 2 or 3 or whatever.

Does chase monitor types of purchases to see if they're business related. Example, can I just purchase 5k in Simon mall visa gift cards to meet minimum spend? Thanks for any information.

They do not actively monitor.

Bold added.

Chase will deny if you try and open more than 1 business card within 30 days, regardless of 5/24 status
cant say for sure its def YMMV. Recently got auto approved for 2 biz cards on back to back days with no issues. I have however heard that there is an unofficial 1/30 rule for biz cards and 2/30 for personal on top of the 5/24 rule. maybe that was the reason he was denied but hard to say.

I searched this thread and did not see any recent posts on this subject. I recently did a self referral using this card. I received the second card and have used with no problems. However, I have not received the 20K referral bonus on the original card. It has been well over a month and closing date on original card has passed with no bonus posted. Anyone know what the delay might be and what to do to make sure the 20K comes through? I am reluctant to call since cards are under same name.

You might not get it- Chase has excluded self-referrals from the terms of most cards (possibly all by now since the story is from about 10 days ago)

Does anyone have the benefits guide PDF for this credit card? I can't seem to find one newer than the June 2016 one [chasebenefits.com].

Thank you,
Tofu Vic

You can send CChase a secured message. They can send you one either PDF or via snail mail

Is anyone able to confirm that upon signing up for the card and receiving the bonus, and thereupon transferring the points to my sapphire reserve, am I able to just cancel the chase ink to avoid the fee while retaining the reward points I received? I assume so since they'll be in my Ultimate Rewards Portal, yes?

The sapphire preferred personal card has a 48-month bonus points limit. Meaning one signup bonus every 48 months for new card.

I believe the business cards used to have a limit of 24 months between opening a card and getting the bonus points.

I don't see any requirement on this card at the moment. The last Chase business card I open was in 2017.

So if I get this card now I will be eligible for the 80k point bonus.

They may shut down account for forced spending, especially visa gift cards. So organic spending is safest.

I have the Chase sapphire reserve. If I get this chase ink business, would I be eligible to earn the bonus points?
