They may shut down account for forced spending, especially visa gift cards. So organic spending is safest.
Can you provide any data points where Chase shut someone down for buying gift cards?

Yes. Different family of cards. I have both and earned UR bonus points on both.
Thanks! I am planning on NOT renewing my CSR card this November due to the hike in price - I need a new one to move to.

I have the Ink Business Plus from 2016. Does the bonus I got from that not allow me to get the points from this one?

Is anyone able to confirm that upon signing up for the card and receiving the bonus, and thereupon transferring the points to my sapphire reserve, am I able to just cancel the chase ink to avoid the fee while retaining the reward points I received? I assume so since they'll be in my Ultimate Rewards Portal, yes?
You receive the bonus after meeting the minimum spend which finalizes after first cycle. Best case scenario, you could cancel the card after getting the bonus and MAYBE get the AF refunded/prorated but that is a very very bad thing to do. You risk getting shut down by Chase (all accounts) and never being able to open a Chase card again.

Easier to just work with someone in this thread and help offset the fee.

The CS cards has 48 month limit between getting signup bonus points.
Does this one have a limit between signup bonus points offer. I got this card in 2017, got the points, before 1yr anniversary got it downgraded to business ink.

Thanks

Can anyone provide any guidance, I applied first week of jan, and chase requested SS number, proof of address, and I sent both, twice. Application status line has said they will notify in writing in 7 to 10 days, and here i am, well over a month later? Line still says same thing. Did I get rejected? What is an appropriate time frame to re apply?

7-10 days is usually a rejection/need more info (which you already submitted). i would give them a call but be ready to be grilled about your biz even if it is fake, they will ask you about it so go over everything in your head (what you do, revenue, how long youve been in biz, how many employees etc). They may not have received your info that you sent in (happened to my gf - she had to call and then they searched and found it). if you applied first week of jan, sounds like your application may have expired too but definitely give them a call and see whats up.

Same. That's why I wanted to know if he had any data points or was just making it up.

No, that has not been possible for a very long time.

It is and it isn't.... They wont give it to you if you are over the 5/24 rule, but it won't be counted towards your 5 if you get it!! Good luck
