Deal is particularly slick because according to Walmart's product page for this item, in terms of its Video Game Platform specification, it's "Not Platform Specific".

So hard these days to find a new-release car jump starter that will run on my aging PS3 gaming system. Joy! Definitely in 4 1.

This will jump most v6 and 4 cyl.

Probably not a really dead V8 or diesel.

You have to realize the amps are retarded.. INSTANT AMPS, PEAK AMPS.

How about continuous amps.. usually about half of instant.. or 175 Which is enough usually.

Not a bad deal

if you need something bigger get a clore
something like this
https://www.amazon.com/Jump-N-Car...FJLP6?th=1

will jump almost any common vehicle... (ie non commercial truck etc)

Seems decent. I seem to recollect a time when there was two for $70 or something.

It does seem like a solid deal, was gonna hold out a bit longer, but I took the plunge. Should prove useful for flats, since I carry a plug kit with me. Thanks subby.

Have one of these and paid $70 for it last year. For this price...going to buy 2 more as gifts. Hopefully, they also come w/ a year of RSS (have it with my insurance, but a little additional security is good.

Anyone know how these hold a charge when unused? When I need it, won't have time to wait for it to recharge.

I take it these are not Lithium-Ion, or some other low self-discharge batteries, or it would have said so.

I bought one last year and it came with a year of free road side assistance. Never used it though, only the jump starter which jumped my V8 from low battery.

I charged it and checked it 3 months later having not used it, and it was at 3/4 charge.

I don't have this one but one from Peak. Those lights mean nothing. When you go to jump start it has no power. These things are only good the first 6/8 months after that they are just dead weight.

I would be getting this as a battery back up for going out into the woods and being able to charge my cell phone a dozen times. Usually battery back ups are measured in milliamp hours. How many amp hours is this thing?
