I have this model. Picture looks great to me, sound is loud and clear, Roku is responsive and fast, never had any issues with the wifi, and it works without issue with the Xbox One S (obviously no HDR). If I needed another TV, I'd buy this in a heartbeat.

Just in case someone asks, it is 120hz at 1080p, 60hz at 4K.

In depth review based on some actual measurements: http://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/tcl/us5800
CNet has a positive review as well.

TCL is a fairly new brand to the US, but is pretty large worldwide. They definitely makes the Insignia Roku sets. I wouldn't be surprised if they made the Sharp Roku sets as well. Maybe others.

IMO, best features are built-in Roku as the primary interface and the price. It's otherwise a pretty good all around TV, but doesn't excel at anything in particular. I was highly considering this model, but the design of the feet won't work with the corner TV stand I have in mind.

Only 2 reviews, one seems good and one doesn't.

The rtings review led me cancel my order. Yeah its under $400, but that seems about right for this TV based on the review.

Bought the 50" version and haven't been able to authorize it with Roku yet (it's been 10 days). They say their website isn't working properly and to just wait. So I haven't been able to get any apps and try it out.

Just giving you guys a heads up.

Nice to see the 120Hz option on all these TVs in this price range finally. Great for sports and gaming.

Watching TV on this as I type. Great for the family. The Roku is an added perk.

Who is TCL made by? Or, maybe who else does TCL make? Anyone know? Decent TVs?
Decent, yes. They are huge in China and the oem market.
