$129 is regular price. I think THIS http://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGID.../206736719 would be a better deal for $20 more. If the Ryobi was $119 like it was a few weeks ago, it may be worth it. But the Ridged warranty can't be beat. A new battery is much more than $20.

The Ridgid was OOS a few days ago. The must have restocked.

Reg price is $179 I think, this is a special buy price but I see your point on the ridgid as well

This has been this price for a while ($129). 2-3 weeks ago it was on sale for $119. Those who has a coupon could have bought it for $109. THAT is a good price. But the Ridgid is only $20 more but offers a LIFETIME warranty. Even a couple of year extended warranty through third parties charge that or more. This is through the company so there is less chance of getting screwed. And in 3 1/2 years your battery plays out, or your impact craps out, you won't be USCWAP and need to repurchase them. But if a lifetime warranty is not worth $20 to you or you are not fond of orange, then the Ryobi is still a good purchase.

I would have bought the Ridgid a few days ago when someone posted info on this coupon, but it was OOS. I forgot about it til my 'IMPACT WRENCH' hit came in on your post. Just checked and it was BIS. So a few minutes ago purchased it. So thanks for reminding me! Smilie

Some people just like the Ryobi selection and have many tools to place their batts in. I have B&D 20v drills and Porter Cable 20v impact driver/drill combo. And neither of those companies have an Impact Wrench. So I decided to go with the Ridgid. But actually like the looks of the Ryobi!

This is the 1/2 inch impact wrench. Not driver. A truck load more torque.

Due to the rarity of the clearance items alone is not worth bringing, no need to brag about your scores which 99% of people cant replicate. shake head

These are made by the same company, and the lifetime warranty on the Ridgid impact wrench AND battery is awesome, but the Ryobi is a newer model and has a 3 "speed" switch which is present and I find helpful on my Ridgid impact driver in not over tourquing things. Anyone have advice on the lack of the 3 speed switch on the older Ridgid wrench? Trying to decide...

Why not? I bought a 1967 Oldsmobile Demont 88 with a 425 in 1984 for $350. Smilie

His 'not to long ago' may have been 6 months ago and all are way gone by now.

Keep in mind this is only 300 ft/lbs so it isn't strong like a Milwaukee. It will work for quite a few things, but not the real stubborn stuff.

That is an impact driver, not an impact wrench. WAY different tools there. One is for putting in screws and the other is for taking off bolts on cars and other big objects.

Both those kits don't have an impact wrench, this deal is for an impact wrench
