Cheaper than dirt has the newest version slide fire for the AR-15 in FDE for $238.09. Use promo code to get extra $10 off.

Use promo code: EM5KTH1 for $10 off $100 order

https://www.cheaperthandirt.com/p...3021731.do

Shipping for me was $16 for a total of $244, still the cheapest I've ever been able to find.

Blows through lots of ammo, plus you can get the same thing (basically) from a different company for $99.99

Slide fire has a cheapo version also if that's what you want, a cheap looking piece of crap. Their newer version is something you can leave on your AR and it still look nice.

Uh, about that....

http://www.guns.com/2016/07/24/sl...-business/

Basically that other company was put out of business for stealing the product designs from the originator... (that's why it says at the bottom of your link if you purchased before 9/25 to contact someone else (the guys who lost the lawsuit).... the guys who won own their company now)

They do go through a lot of ammo, that's why mine (a real one) is on a 22... fun as hell, especially suppressed

Isn't that the whole point of being able to fire "automatic"?

The M&P 15-22 is, by far, the best 22 AR-15- you can find the old model for $299 on sale and the current model goes on sale for $349 reasonably often

Pending legislation seems to include 'not legal to own/use' language so buying one now may very well be a waste of money.

As much as I believe in the 2nd, I was surprised the ATF gave the green light on these.

Maybe the Obama administration was playing the long game figuring it would setup the anti-2A gun-grabbers to get a lot more concessions on gun control when one was inevitably used in a mass shooting event hoping to get the AR-15s they're used with at the same time.

Of course we still don't really know that Paddock used the guns with the bumpfire stocks installed (or the other rifles) during the shooting though that I'm sure will be clarified in the coming days.
