I guess I'll toss in my .02

-->**This TV is NOT last years model and it isn't the Brickseek unicorn from Walmart that was clearanced out for like $100.**<--

This is a 2016 model one level down from the H8C.

The difference between this and the H8C from what I can tell is that it is missing the local dimming zones (10) from that model (note that reviews say local dimming on all TVs with minimal zones are kinda crap). I can't find any other listed differences.

If this can match the performance of the H8C, then it is a very nice deal.

We briefly had this TV when Walmart was getting rid of them. The smart system is a little clunky on the home NAS side. Also, the viewing angle is a bit tight. It washes out pretty fast as you move away. Definitely in front viewing only.

This is a great deal for a good TV especially with the groupon for the sams club going on. This also has the 4 years warranty and it did get the HDR HDMI update recently. Just had the mother in law order one. I have a H8 and the only difference is local dimming. Hopefully someone can get some calibration settings posted for this big boy.

I'm looking for a 55-60" HDTV and I just can't decide if I should buy now or wait till Thanksgiving. I don't need a smart tv, and not even sure what HDR is, just know that they normally increase the price of the TV.

I can use my moms sams membership for this TV, what is the likelyhood a similar TV with these specs will be available cheaper in a month?

Ordered Thursday w/expected delivery by Tuesday(FedEx)! Seems like a good deal for a decent 55" 4K HDTV 4yr warranty & free shipping for $170 off and 5% Chase cashback. Going to be a Shock going from our ole 23" Samsung!

My thoughts as well. I think I'm going to hold out until Black Friday.

Careful, not sure the H7C has HDR, the H8C Yes.
