they never left

TFT41R was always there for $40 off $100

I need the $50 off $100 or $125 to make an appearance though

and for a little while last year you could stack dollar-off and percentage

Once I discovered you can use advance auto search to get part numbers and search for those on ebay I found my new parts place. Prices there are almost always 50-70% less and parts are identical.

The batteries are ok, decent warranty. Walmart is selling a decent car battery now for $50 or so... warranty is not that good 1 year I think but if you are flipping something they are great for that!

Have had an Autocraft Gold battery for a few years without any problems even in cold weather.

The lawn and garden size ones suck and have a very small replacement warranty. I've gone through 2 in 3 years. Will not be buying another one.

The car batteries I've had no issues with. Put one in my wifes jeep 2 years ago, put one in my truck a few months ago.
Just a note in case anyone wants them to install the battery...they will not install certain batteries...no idea why though. Seems like everyone i've ever bought, they wouldn't put in.

Generally speaking you make out better having Advanced price match to Amazon or Rock Auto. It's easier to place through customer service and pickup in store when doing this because the in store employees can be stooges when it comes to online matching. I just had to have the regional manager re- educate the employees at the Danvers MA store that they DO match online pricing as is spelled out here: http://m.advanceautoparts.com/o/pricingpolicy

Note they won't take coupons on top of a price match but they WILL take Speed Perks.

Their free shipping on $75 and over is post-coupon reductions etc - which sucks. You buy something for $100 and apply the $40 off - and bam - you see >$10 in shipping - especially those items that are not available for store pick up.. sucks..
