Get a backdriven one with incline and resistance for a few hundred more. I broke the petals on my schwinn under 500 miles, I have over 2500 on my current Nordic Track and its still running good.

Folks, as much as I hate the phrase, 'pay more...'......BigD is right.... you just can't go cheapo on good exercise equipment or else the equipment itself will deter you from even using it....

If you are committed to using indoor equipment, then pay for something good, not something that is cheap, noisy, annoying, and prone to rapid mechanical failure as you're just going to turn yourself off from exercising....

If you just don't have the cash, remember that Craigslist and such sites can be your friend; I recently got a $1200+ recumbent bike with magnetic resistance for only $150 - the thing is whisper quiet, solid, and I can sit and listen to my piddly phone volume streaming Netflix without issue...

Snagged this earlier today. With 585 reviews at 4/5 stars that is the best statistical review out there on any other elliptical on Amazon. I am one to go off of Consumer Report and reviews. Many of the 1 star reviews also talk about broken or missing parts when delivered. Now I'm wondering if I can hide this from the wife for her Christmas gift..... ssshhhh!

I got this one in my Walmart for $100 on clearance last month.

My fiancé loves it and uses it daily. Bigger than what I wanted in my house but for what I paid I couldn't pass on it.

I'll just buy 20 bucks in discounted Halloween candy to give myself a challenge and see which machine has a basket to put my extra candy.

Believe me I have tried. Its very difficult to find a good item on CG and its tough to deal with unmotivated sellers who list their items and don't communicate. I spend a year trying to find a good ellipitical. There will be plenty of listings but its really hard to good elliptical off CG.There are atleast two sellers on Offer Up who are sticking to $500 selling price for Schwinn 470 and will not budge. It is really hard to have them see reason. Most of them have a Elliptical at home that they want to sell because they don't use frequently but also are never in a rush to get deal done.

I agree that this is not a good fit for someone who is looking for a regular workout gym quality elliptical.

I think this will be a good fit for many folks who are looking to do short exercise at home frequently. I have a gym membership, but many times want to get quick 30 minute cardio and this will help.

This deal is incorrectly tagged as Expired. Model Year 2016 are available right now as I post this. I just bought Model Year 2016 version from Walmart with 4 year Maintenance Contract for 525

What is difference between the old and new model (my16). I have looked all over Internet and have yet to figure it out.
