Amazing find - thank you.

Next time I go, I'll split my purchases: $100 on the AMEX, then the rest on my Chase (5% back right now).

yes go find a "free day" pass....

Keep in mind folks it appears this only applies to "front end" purchases (just like the BJ's CC 5% only applies to "front end" purchases) - must have something to do with the merchant ID. So, no go on tires (maybe?) or jewelry (or other service stuff like vacations and whatnot). Not sure if it will work on booze. Obviously won't work at a cell kiosk (if your club has one), not sure about vision or Rx (if your club has those).

This is a great thing, though I dont shop there that much. The restrictions do not exclude gift cards, and I went and checked their online selection of gift cards [bjs.com], but anyone have any idea if that would work for this credit, and if they sell Visa/MC/Amex giftcards?

IT might be club YMMV but my club (probably a smaller one) DOES sell GC's at a (minor) discount from FV; they also sell Visa/MC GC's - but beware these will have an activation fee.

The Amex verbage doesn't list GC's as an exception.

Thanks OP. Repped.

Seems the multiple window trick is no longer required. YMMV, but I was able to add to multiple cards on the same login without opening additional windows/browsers.

Thanks, I'll have to drop by and see what mine has. It's been a while since I've been there.

BJ does sell MC/V/Amex. purchased it there before. there is an activation fee though. other cards are sold at small discount. but if they have variable VGC, you could probably buy one (depending on how many cards you have) pay one fee and split payment to maximize.
