Buy any 1 of the 3 Jobmax consoles and get a free attachment head of your choice with coupon. The is Ridgid customer appreciation so you have to be registered with Ridgid warranty. I attached the coupon just in case but not sure if it is single use.

Wow...great deal! I just bought my dad their impact wrench around 6 months back, and was looking to get him the 18V console and the right angle impact so he could have a complete impact set for heavy auto and home reparis. Thanks for sharing OP!

The 12v and corded tools are $99, the 18v tool only is $79
Each of the heads are $29-49,

Some of the heads are price drops from $69.

If you need these, this is a good deal IMO.

I have the 18v base and previous multi-tool head and drywall cutter. They work pretty well. The tool-free change head on the multi-tool is a big improvement that most multi-tools have gone to. I'm thinking about picking up the 12v and jigsaw or recip saw head.

Awesome - I've been waiting for a good deal on the Jobmax and this is definitely it... especially coupled with the current sale on most attachment heads at HD

I grabbed this last week. Just take the printout in store and they'll scan it. My one disappointment is that the 20V hand tool in the picture (with the tool-free head) is NOT what HD sells in store. When you search the HD site you can see both models show up separately but the store system has merged their sku's into one. When I tried to order the tool-free model online for store pick up, all they had for me was the regular standard head. That version's not bad, but it definitely gets pretty annoying having to pull out the hex key each time.

I tried two stores in south Jersey and both came up short.

It's still a good deal, though, if you're looking to get some extras.

Making it more annoying was that the display in BOTH stores was the tool-free head but the inventory was always the vanilla version. And since the store sku # matched both versions the employees were generally clueless about it and didn't offer much help.

Those are impact drivers in this line, not impact wrenches. Unfortunately not the right tool for working on cars, they don't have nearly enough torque to work on a car.

The 12v cordless on sale for $99 at HD includes a battery. The 18v on sale for $79 does not include a battery.

DH was probably talking about the JobMax and it's accessories, not the complete Ridgid lineup.

That is not a JobMax tool, it's a completely different tool that does not relate to this deal.

I was able to get this deal after quite a bit of trouble. I think HD operation itself sucks big time. Ridgid customer service helped a little, but the way they handle this is very inconvenience to the buyer. Here is how my experience go.

First, this deal requires you to buy Ridgid Jobmax 18V condole with Tools Free Mt head, which has model number of R862005. This model has HD SKU 822217. If you pull this SKU, you get two models, R862005 and R862004(same without Tools Free Mt Head). Most stores has R862004, so this deal can't be honored due to model difference. I am OK with this part.

I repeatedly questioned why the same SKU comes up two difference items, in 3 out of 4 stores, the managers didn't have a clue, and gave some BS answer. One of the store manager was willing to spend time to find the answer, finally said the R862004 is a outgoing model, it will be replaced by R862005 soon. It sounded reasonable to me. Since this deal ends at 1/27/2017, so I guess I can come back a month later.

Today, I happened to had lunch nearby a HD, so I went in to check. I saw R862005. Great, so I picked up the R862005 + one free attachment to the register. I showed the coupon on my phone. Their system accepted and subtract the free item off. The cashier must have thought the discount was too big, decided to call the store manager. Manager arrived and decided not to honor the promotion because this was NOT in their promotion list. So even the promotion code worked, she can't honor it. WFT, right!!!

At this point, I decided to call Ridgid customer service. After some explanation, the CS was willing to speak to the HD manager. Their agreement was that if I can show a printed coupon, they will honor the deal. This was again WTF. I was quite pissed at their handling of this. They are basically trying to make this difficult. I was also pissed enough that I determine to get this deal. I went to a nearby print shop, printed out the flyer, went back to HD.

Again, at check out, there was another catch. The R862005 is $79.00 by itself but it showed up $99.99 after the promotion code was entered. So instead of $79 for the jobmax it self, it will be $99 for jobmax+1 free attachment. Their reason was the 1 free attachment promotion can't be combine with other promotions. But there was no other promotion. I had to go to homedepot.com, showed that $79 is their normal price. After all these troubles, they finally were willing to let me have the promotion. The whole process took me 1hour+ of time.

So if you want this, bring a printer flyer, have phone ready to show $79 is a normal price. Better, have Ridgid on the phone when you check out.

Wow--your store is jacked up!

I agree with the model vs sku debacle--I ran into the same thing in two different stores. Basically, I tried two stores to see if they had the tool free version in stock and the only way to know for sure is going into the store. No one in store could explain the discrepancy.

However, that's where our experiences part ways. In two different stores, the reps were very easy to work with. Granted, they were unaware of the promotion but when I showed them the printed form they were very compliant and didn't give me any grief. They charged me $79 and not the $99 in your experience. Sorry they were such pains.
