Amazon has an extra 15% off on an open box on a JU7100... about $1900 before tax.

you don't need a link, just go or search amazon or u7100 and pick the size. I already did and its gone. Anyway just for $100 more for better warranty and BRAND NEW is worth it. You'll need it for this model because of the panel lottery. You'll need to pick one with "T" in front of box to be sure you'll a Samsung panel.
$100 less for a returned is not worth it for a $2000 investment which I'm pretty sure it was returned bc its does not has Samsung panel.

the hdmi is not hdcp compliant, so you won't be able to connect to 4k streaming devices (at least nothing newer because hdcp 2.2 for hdmi is standard for anything 4k nowadays)

This is incorrect. The 641D is HDCP compliant. The 641D meets the requirements for CEA's 4k UHD Connected standard which includes HDCP 2.2 support.

You'll be hard pressed to find any 4k TV made after 2014 from one of the top tier manufacturers (Samsung, Sony, Panasonic) that doesn't include HDCP 2.2 support.
