2 additional free lines Promo extended until 11:59 pm PT on Tuesday, November 22.

T-Mo says that its free Samsung Galaxy Tab E and LG G Pad X 8.0 offers will only run through Sunday, November 20.
-------------------------------------------------------------

How does this offer work? For a limited time, When you sign up for 2 new voice lines on T-Mobile ONE or Simple Choice (retail or telesales only) will you get an additional 2 lines for FREE after bill credit.

If you currently have 2 Simple Choice or T-Mobile ONE voice lines you are also eligible to get up to 2 lines Free when you add new lines to their plan.

All lines must be activated during the promotional period.

There is a maximum of 2 free lines per account. If your account currently has 1 free line already it counts towards the max 2 free lines limit.

Where is this offer available? Anywhere that T-Mobile offers new lines of service, including T-Mobile retail stores nationwide, authorized postpaid dealers, Costco, customer care (1-800-937-8997), T-Mobile.com, and Telesales (1-800-T-Mobile).

Who's eligible for this promotion? New customers and current customers are eligible to receive this offer as long as you are on a qualifying rate plan, have two paid voice lines, and your account is in good standing.

How do I get it? New customers simply activate 2 voice lines on T-Mobile ONE and get two additional lines free. Existing Simple Choice and T-Mobile ONE customers on a qualifying plan can add up to 2 new lines for free.

How long will promotional pricing last? You can keep the promotional pricing as long as you maintain qualifying service and stay on your current plan. If you cancel service on any of your lines or change plans, you will lose the monthly bill credits.

Can I get this deal in addition to T-Mobile's other promotions? Yes. You may take advantage of this offer as well as our other offers and promotions, including Carrier Freedom.

Previously took advantage of our 4th Line Free promotion will be able to add one additional line on us for a total of 2 lines free after bill credit.

Do all free lines need to be voice lines? Do tablet and wearable lines count? You must have at least two paid voice lines. After that, you can have a combination of Voice, Mobile Internet (tablet, LineLink, or SyncUP) and Wearable lines can qualify as free lines.

May T-Mobile @Work customers take advantage of this offer Yes. Qualifying new and existing @Work customers with 2-12 lines may add two additional qualifying lines on us.

Does the T-Mobile ONE Plus feature qualify for this promotion? No. The free line discount amount only applies to T-Mobile ONE or Simple Choice plans.

There is a max of 2 free lines per account, if your current account already has 1 free line from a previous promotion then you can only add 1 more free line.

The 2 free lines are in addition to the current number of lines you have in the account. If your account has 6 lines you CAN NOT convert two of those lines into free ones, the promo will give you 6 + 2 free lines.

John Legere mentioned that this promo applies to all existing customers with a Simple Choice Plan or a T-mobile One plan.

Yes, the free line can be used for the new SyncUp Drive car device. It will give the device 2GB. The SyncUp devices will be only available until they go into backorder, after that you won't be able to get one of the free lines with SyncUp. More info on Sync up here LINK.

Yes, you can add tablets as the free lines. The bill credits for tablet lines are limited to $25, this means that you can only get a data allotment within $25, anything above it you will have to pay the difference. UPDATE: For customers in T-Mobile One plan refer to this post for more info: CEO's response

How much data are the free voice lines going to have? It is going to be the most affordable data allotment that you have in your current account. If you have 1 line with Unlimited, 1 line with 10GB, 1 line with 6GB, the two free voice lines are going to get 6GB. If you want the free lines to have more data, just upgrade the 6GB line to something higher BEFORE adding the 2 free voice lines. If all your lines have the same amount of data allotment, the free ones will get the same too, including unlimited plans.

How long are the lines free? Forever as long as you don't close any of the lines that were active when you added the promo. If you had 4 lines, and added 2 free ones and in the future close any of those 6 lines it will void the bill credits given to the 2 free lines.

You are also limited by your credit. If your credit allows for X amount of lines and the 2 free lines would put you over that limit then you won't be able to get an additional free line.

Do I have to buy new phones to get the free lines? No, you can bring your own device. You will have to pay $20 per simcard.

Does the 2 free lines promo applies for prepaid? No, only post paid customers.

There is a $25 cap for Mobile Internet free lines. Voice lines are free and no cap on the bill credit.

The offer is NOT available to customers who have cancelled a line in the last 90 days. These customers must resume their cancelled line and activate an additional line to be eligible. UPDATE: There have been conflicting information coming from T-Mobile on this one. Some reps have been saying yes, this is applicable and others no. Also /u/Brian1502
mentioned that the executive team told him that no, that this not applicable email. In other words, make sure that you get a note written into your account that you asked about the 90 days clause and that you were ensured that it was not applicable.

Quick update from the Executive Response Team / Office of the President/CEO.
I just spoke to them over the phone and can share the following (11/19 3pm PST):
  1. The "up to" $25 discount on the tablet lines is "per line", NOT per account. E.g. a $45 plan data plan would get a $10 discount if you have a voice line and up to 25$ in bill credits, making you pay $10 plus taxes. In essence, as many have said, the 6GB high speed data lines for $35 are free plus tax the way. You can do that for 2 lines. A 2GB data line would be free but you don't get any "extra" credit. Voice lines don't have this limit.
  2. They confirmed the requirements about the promo being void if any lines were recently canceled (within 90 days). You would have to resume these lines first.
  3. The promo lines will forfeit their free billing credit status if/when you change any line on your account in the future. If you change account responsibility for a line on your account, if you port out a number, if you cancel a line, does not matter. Any change of this nature. You can always add, but if you cancel any line on your account at ANY time in the future, then these 2 free lines will become regular lines to be paid for. Something important to keep in mind. So, "freeze" your account, or be OK with having the promo for a while until you might change your account.
  4. They could not comment on the iPad Mini, if any, and what the requirements might be.
Hope this helps. Kamaaina.

The offer for two lines free is available on T-Mobile ONE AND Simple Choice. With T-Mobile ONE and two lines free, it's just a ridiculously low $30 per line for a family of four – all with unlimited calling, texting and high-speed data for everyone. Now everyone can enjoy unlimited Snapping, Skyping, Spotifying, binge-watching, gaming and a gajillion other things—throughout the holidays and all year long. And, T-Mobile customers get the added gift of travel without limits—with unlimited talk, text and 4G LTE data in Mexico and Canada, unlimited text and data in 140+ countries and destinations, and unlimited text and one hour of free data on Gogo®-enabled flights.

Limited time offers; subject to change. While supplies last. Plus taxes & fees; device taxes due at sale. Smartphone/tablet offers for well-qualified customers; qualifying plan and 24-mo finance agreements required. Here's what T-Force told me about that...
You currently are on a promotional plan, 4 Lines for $120, it is a Family Match Plan, giving everyone the same amount of data, 10GB per line. If you were to purchase that today, it would be $150, for all 4 lines. I can understand you are looking for a NO CHARGE, or a CREDIT or something and that is maybe where the confusion lies, as it just says 4 line PROMO. But you are in fact getting your 4th line for free. When our new Friends and Family 2 Lines on us is released, 11/18, you can then add 1 (ONE) line, at no cost to you. Because you currently are already receiving one line on us. Your data and such will stay the same, there would not be a change to that. As far as the description of the plan, for your billing purposes, we currently do not know what that will look like. We are told that there will be a charge, and then you will receive or see a credit, so something more like what you are looking for now. We are also being told, it can take up to TWO BILLING CYCLES for the credit to apply.

source 2: https://www.periscope.tv/w/avvCBz...jhWh1icSq7

Legere clarified details on Periscope. All existing customers qualify to add two new lines, regardless of your plan. you cannot get 2 current lines discounted, must be add ons, but they'd be free so long as you have the credit to add those lines onto your account.

I spoke to T-Force to get some clarification on the free lines promotion this weekend.
The $25 cap on the free lines applies to Mobile Internet lines only. Voice lines are free and no cap on the credit.
If you are on a plan like me 2/$100 Simple Choice Unlimited w/14GB Hotspot, where adding additional lines must be unlimited and at $40/line, those are FREE this weekend and the lines will be unlimited too.

You can also BYOD and just buy 2 activated SIM cards this weekend and they will still count as free under the promo.
There's not nearly enough information out there to figure this all out, so hopefully I've helped someone in the same scenario as myself.
Quote :
Someone claimed if there was a line cancellation in the prior 90 days that would disqualify you from the promo, but I'm not sure how true that is.
I wish they posted the full terms and conditions of the crap so we could better understand what we qualify for and how the promos worked...
EDIT: It's in the T&Cs: "•Not available to: ... Customers who have cancelled a line in the last 90 days. These customers must resume their cancelled line and activate an additional line to be eligible."

So far, 3 confirmed cases of 2 free lines added to grandfathered SELECT CHOICE plans. See my quotes below.

--------------------------------------------------------
$70 New monthly total for my grandfathered SELECT Choice plan of 5 lines
2 voice lines with unlimited 30MB data
1 voice line with unlimited 6GB data with binge on + data stash
2 data line with unlimited 6GB data
2 free LG tablets with no activation fee
-$20 one-time discount

If your rep isn't willing to add lines for your SELECT Choice plan, hang up & call again. My 1st call, the customer service rep refused my request & I asked to be transferred to the Loyalty Dept to be rejected by that rep as well. So I hung up & called back again & got a rep willing to add the free lines to my account. Now, I don't actually know if this will work on my account for certain, but I ask the rep to confirm multiple times & he told me that he will notate I am receiving the free lines offer on my account & tmobile will accept my offer agreements.

Although, that rep also mentioned that it only works for data-only tablet lines on my SELECT Choice plan. If I wanted a free voice line, I'd had to sign up for a T-One account.

They don't offer too many details in the fine print. I currently have a older family plan with four lines, 10GB each. Can I just add those two lines for free? Will it change my plan to a newer plan? Do I need two extra phones? (I may have two older phones laying around.) I guess I would have to pay for two extra SIM cards?

"Two Lines Free: Via bill credits; may take 2 bill cycles; 2+ paid voice lines required. Activate all lines by 11/20/16. "

I'm so confused. How long are these 2 lines "free"? I have 6 lines currently on my plan but no leases. Trying to determine if there is a deal to be had that would be worth the hassle of dropping/adding 2 of my lines...

I'm in the exact same situation: six lines with 10GB (I have a tablet too). No leases. I currently pay $170+taxes and would love to have six lines at $120 if that's the case. But for how long will the "free" lines be "free"???

I think this is for T-mobile One. So if you're a current customer, your plan will change to the T-mobile One plan if you go with this deal.

So, am I reading this right? I am paying $100 for 4 people, all s6/note 5. My friend and his wife pays $85 for 2 lines, s6's. Can we consolidate, 6 lines for $120 and all of us get free upgrades to s7's and 6 free vr gear sets and save $65 a month?

What's the catch?

I don't think that's at all clear. Maybe you're right, but maybe not. It doesn't mention Tmobile ONE until the very end, and then only as an example. The fine print at the bottom says nothing about changing to TMobile ONE.

Also, to add to the confusion, this link [t-mobile.com] talks about buy two, get two free. But the press release says nothing about buying anything.
