Basically equal to the lowest price that's ever been noticed on Amazon, PLUS you get the map pro canister!

Serious question - How aggressive would this be for food applications such as burning the top of a Creme Brulee? Thanks

for the average user, i don't see a need to splurge on mapp gas. propane should be sufficient. please correct me if i'm wrong.

You're right. You really only need MAPP gas in situations you need a higher temp flame.

pretty sure this kit can burn both mapp and propane but if you buy a propane kit, it usually can only do propane. something to consider.

Where are you seeing that? I'm seeing the exact opposite.

Overkill..this is the yellow container. Could use the regular butane one. Walmart or Lowes have the regular blue canister. I think I paid, $12-$20. i saw a smaller, cute, handheld unit that could be used for a brule at Lowes...

*If, I recall this will last longer and for more applications. Plummers use these, also. I need it to loosen nuts on a vehicle and old, machinery. YouTube is my DIY guide... If I can see, I can do 80% of it. Wink.
