You have to purchase the phone on a Device Payment Plan.

Can be combined with BOGO Half Off deal.

If you bought phones before today, call Verizon, and they will waive the $20 activation fee once you receive your order. I called 611 this morning, and asked them to note my account for reference. I purchased the Pixel XL in white for the wify and V20 for me. Unfortunately Pixel XL in white won't ship until 12/20. That's another story.

Called and they said it applied to online orders only, and for some reason they were only willing to credit 1-1/2 of my two new activations from last week. Weird, but I guess it's $30 I wouldn't have had back if I didn't see this post, so thanks OP!

I suffer the same issues. In store do whatever they want to your account and say anything just to make a sale. They then mislead you and make it difficult to perform returns, saying that trade in phone is only worth $1 when they sell for much greater on eBay and Craigslist.

I don't recommend doing anything B&M but online is great, and the way to go imho.

I clicked thru the OP's link but don't see any where it says "waiving activation fee". Is the deal over?
Nevermind, I see the offer when going to specific phone page.
