This thing looks like a dog, wonder if it goes "woof" too? Harmon Kardon, Right On Man! It will go well in my Chevy Van down by the river. Wonder if these were first sold at Curtis Mathes before being refurbed.

These phones are perfect for people that just use their phone for email, web, text & call. I picked up an S3 2 years ago and couldnt be happier. Cheap initial cost and no monthly payment is great.

Don't bother. I gave Freedompop a try this past spring. Spent $200 for a refurbed iPhone 5. Had to spend $100 to fix the non-working GPS on the unit. Paid for their 'Premium Voice' for about 4 months. I live downtown where cell service is great. Not on Freedompop, however. Too many dropped calls. Those that made it thru were barely audible. Paid extra to have voice-mail. The phone would have to ring over 20 times before voice-mail picked up. Called Customer Service several times - was told that there was no way to adjust the number of rings. Oh yea - you can't CALL customer service unless you pay for premium voice. If you don't pay for premium voice, you can only EMAIL customer service. Save your money - avoid Freedompop like the plague.

Cool looking phone, the bezel-less design looks pretty cool. Too bad for the crap 2012 specs.

I have a S3 and an S4 and use Freedompop plenty. I'd never use it as my main calling service though. For tracking my daughter and having her text me, it works great, but for calling no way.

I was poking fun of this phone more than anything. I think one and the specs go down the line of the Motorola Photon, a weird phone but this one is made by a manufacturer more known for making desktop calculators and numerous failed PDAs from the 90s.

I'd take the S3 over this phone any day! it has twice the storage and far more customizable.

This phone also doesn't have a normal earpiece - it vibrates the glass or some such. As I recall the reviews said it was interesting, but only worked so-so.

Does FreedomPop have the 60 day outbound call requirement that RingPlus does? Thinking about getting an extra phone to have just in case of emergencies and don't want to find out I got disconnected just when I actually need it.
