The SVS SB12-NSD went FP and will probably get more attention. But this is the deal to get IMO. Ultra-X12 shipped to your door for $549, it's perfect for HT. Cool

(Unless you're looking for a sealed sub specifically, then the SB12-NSD is the way to go)

I have a pair of LFM1 which beat out the Ultra's pretty easily as well as a pair of Rythmik's 15. I'd advise taking that $999 and grabbing 1 FVX15 for the same price vs the 2 Ultra's (or two LFM1. I actually run all 4 in my theater room though).

If you're planning on spending 1k sure, but if you're just going for 1, nothing that I know of beats it for $549. (unless you're going DIY)

This sub would destroy that SVS sealed sub in HT applications. Well worth the extra cost IMO. It's a legit 20 Hz sub.

I agree, unless you're looking for a smaller sealed sub specifically (music and/or WAF).

Happy LFM-1EX owner just here to give a thumbs up.

The M8 on sale for $199 shipped is a good deal as well.

Isn't the Ultra a little smaller than the LFM1? I'm running one in a small room, and it's plenty. Rythmiks are on my short list now along with another DIY sub. You must be filling a large area, but most people wouldn't need more than a pair of 12's for their medium sized living room, especially decent 12's that play well into the low 20's. Of course everything is very subjective in sound, some people can't get enough bass.

I've always heard great things about Outlaw subs, but I just ordered a VTF 15H mk2. I'd rather spend my whole sub budget on one sub, then later down the line add the second. Instead of buying 2 right off the bat. Anything will be an upgrade from my BicF12.

The Ultra is a little smaller than the LFM-1 EX, not the LFM-1. It's slightly larger than the LFM-1.

I think the Ultra is in between the LFM-1 Plus and the LFM-1EX

I've always dreamed of the svs sub but can't settle for Sealed version if it was the pb12 it'd be easy.

Anyhow I might do this deal. I have a klipsch 10 (8 years) inch sub that's ok but want to blow myself away with something better
