yes. 2.7% per swipe. But that's cheaper than the 3.5% + 15 cents to key in a card manually or the 2.9% + 30 cents to invoice a customer



Square is 2.75% so PayPal Here is slightly better

You should be able to change it... Its Bluetooth to your device and syncs with the PayPal Here app

Of course, welcome to the wonderful world of credit card processing. A few places will give you a few credits but long term you will have to pay fees eventually. The upside is that Paypal does not have monthly fees which is pretty common in the industry.

It's not great but not bad. For low volume transaction stuff it is pretty good. You can get better rates, but you typically have to do 5 figures+ of monthly volume to get below 2%.
